Meet the Team: Tyler Sharpe
Tyler Sharpe joined APEX Group, a Diverzify Company, as an account executive in March 2025. In his new position, Tyler will help grow the company’s business in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and nurture relationships with clients.
“Tyler has a genuine desire to engage with clients and understand their needs,” said Thomas Holland, president of APEX Group. “That combined with his industry experience make him uniquely qualified to serve in this role.”
We recently sat down with Tyler to welcome him to the team and learn more about him, both personally and professionally.
1. Tell us a little bit about yourself.
I grew up all around Texas. I spent my earliest years in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and went to high school in East Texas. I graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler and moved back to the Metroplex shortly thereafter. I live just outside of Dallas with my wife and three kids. We have a 10-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl, and a 1-year-old boy.
2. Why did you decide to join the APEX Group team?
I decided to join APEX because it felt like a great company to grow with. The culture here is fantastic, and I felt like part of the team from the very beginning. The interview process was incredibly welcoming, and I genuinely enjoyed meeting everyone I spoke with. I was also excited about the opportunity to help expand a newer side of the business—construction cleanup.
3. How has your past experience prepared you for your new role?
My experience in sales gives me a unique perspective. My first experience out of college was in flooring distribution, which led to a role with another company within the commercial construction industry. This experience has led to my having built lasting relationships in the field that I can rely on to help grow our business.
4. What are your hobbies?
My hobbies mainly consist of coaching my son’s baseball team, playing golf, and spending as much time with family as possible. My wife and I enjoy going skiing as well when we can.
5. What’s the most interesting article or book you’ve read lately?
I recently read an interesting article about the Sandler Selling System. I think it’s important to always improve on my craft. Selling has evolved, and this sales method has given me a different perspective on how to approach each call so I am more prepared and stay out of voicemail jail.
6. If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Eating one meal for the rest of my life would be very difficult, but if I had to choose it would be a Jersey Mike’s sub with ice cream for dessert. I don’t think I could live without either of those.
7. What’s on your bucket list?
A trip to Italy is on my bucket list. While there, I would ski, eat a lot of food, and learn more about the country’s fascinating history in person.
